Electives are open to all students. You may add these classes onto the end of your students day, or just sign up for electives. Your choice!
Robotics
Home Economics
5th grade and up
In this class, students will learn skills for basic household management. We will take a hands-on approach to topics such as sewing (by hand and machine), garment repair, upcycling/repurposing household materials, social etiquette & hospitality, meal planning on a budget, basic cooking and baking skills and more!
Art Education
Tuesdays 1:00 6th-12th 2:00 K-2nd 3:00 3rd-5th
Your child will have fun with water colors, tempera paint, markers, oil pastels, clay and various other art supplies
This class may count as a High School Credit.
Physical Education
Tuesdays
This class will include active and playful games, some strength training, lessons on anatomy and a variety of activities that make physical fitness fun. There will be hula hooping, body weight exercises, and traditional PE games such as dodge ball. The focus of this class is to experience many different physical activities to grow interest and curiosity in physical education,
Health and Wellness
Tuesdays, 6th -12th Grade
This class counts as a High School Credit.
Each content area is addressed in a classroom and/or physical activity setting. Nutrition and Personal Fitness will be emphasized and integrated throughout the course. Students will acquire knowledge and skills necessary to make informed decisions regarding their health and well-being throughout their lifetime.
The content of the course includes 5 standards:
1.Nutrition 2.Personal Fitness 3.Mental/Emotional/Social Health 4.Disease Prevention and Control 5.First Aid and Safety.

Games
Students will strengthen math skills, problem solving skills, how to work together and have fun while learning important life skills.
Music Education
Tuesdays, 1:00 K-2nd 2:00 3rd-5th (ukulele)
Thursdays 3:00 6th-12th (handbells)
Students will learn basic music education plus how to play recorders, boomwackers, hand bells and sing lots of fun songs. A Christmas and spring performance is planned for each semester.
This class may count as a high school credit.
Cooking
Tuesdays 4:00-6:00 ages 5 and up
This class will take place the first Tuesday of every month. You can sign up for months indivdually, or sign up for the entire semester. Each month, students will learn about and create foods from a different country.
Introduction to Dance
Wednesdays, 10:30 K-3rd Grade 11:30 4th grade and up
Students will start by learning some fun dances to build coordination and fluid movement. They will perform for the Christmas program and also in the Spring play. We want this to be a fun and engaging class for everyone.
